We want you to make new connections.

Metro introduced its Veterans’ Hiring Initiative in April 2012 to help address the agency’s long-term staffing needs and assist veterans with their transition into civilian careers. As Metro’s transit system expands and its current workforce cycles into retirement age, the agency faces challenges filling technical positions in management, maintenance and operations.  Veterans are a pool of job seekers who have received exceptional leadership and technical skill training that make them uniquely qualified to help fill Metro’s future hiring needs.
